Hi, Everyone! Breakaway, a Space: 1999 convention, recently held its 2019 event in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania from September 12 to 15. Jamie Hood of Round 2 attended the convention via Skype and surprised fans with new model kit news! Space: 1999 news: The new-tooled 1:72 14-inch Eagle Transporter will be shipping in November / December 2019. A new 1:48 22-inch Eagle will be coming in early 2020.  This new version will be the Laboratory Eagle which features the outward-extended lab pod.  Jamie showed off an assembled mock up of this model to panel attendees. The spine booster unit which is usually associated with the Laboratory Eagle will be sold separately in order to keep costs for the Eagle kit itself down.  The spine booster unit will feature machined aluminum engine bells.
