Hasegawa 1:48 Operation Omega Multiform

Image
Hi, Everyone! Back in the 1984, Hasegawa released an odd sci-fi model kit called Operation Omega Multiform.  It built up into an original-looking 1:48 single-pilot "Patrol Hopper" spacecraft.  But what made this kit stand out was that it included more for the build so that the model could be parts-transformed into a 1:144 NASA Space Shuttle (with a stow-able vulcan cannon, no less) that then sat on top of some kind of two-person carrier unit. This model was interesting enough that in 1986 Monogram licensed it from Hasegawa and re-boxed it as the "Eagle Lunar Explorer" under their Young Astronauts line of real-space kits.  Hasegawa themselves last re-released the model in late-2007.  Now the kit will become available again (kit number SP414)! Parts to build a 1:48 Patrol Hopper Parts to build a 1:144 NASA Space Shuttle with Carrier Water slide decal sheet 5200 yen (currently about $47.00 U.S.D.) MSRP Early-June 2019 release Check out the images below to see h...
