Hasegawa 1:72 Macross Re-Releases

Hasegawa is getting ready to re-release a few of their classic Macross 1:72 model kits!

VE-1 ELINT Seeker Valkyrie (kit number 65708):
  • Represents the spacecraft that was first featured in the classic 1984 anime movie The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?
  • Model kit was originally first released in 2001
  • 1:72 scale
  • 208 parts
  • 198 mm (7.79528 inches) long / 211 mm (8.30709 inches) wide
  • 2400 yen (currently about $22.00 U.S.D.)

VT-1 "Super Ostrich" Valkyrie (kit number 65707):
  • Represents the spacecraft that was first featured in the classic 1984 anime movie The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?
  • Model kit was originally first released in 2001
  • 1:72 scale
  • 183 parts
  • 198 mm (7.79528 inches) long / 211 mm (8.30709 inches) wide
  • 2400 yen (currently about $22.00 U.S.D.)

VF-1D Valkyrie (kit number 65780):
  • Represents the spacecraft that was first featured in the classic anime TV series The Super Dimension Fortress Macross
  • Model kit was originally first released in 2008
  • 1:72 scale
  • 142 parts
  • 197 mm (7.75591 inches) long / 197 mm (7.75591 inches) wide
  • 2400 yen (currently about $22.00 U.S.D.)

VF-0A Valkyrie (kit number 65771):
  • Represents the spacecraft that was featured in the anime video series Macross Zero
  • Model kit was originally first released in 2004
  • 1:72 scale
  • 121 parts
  • 271 mm (10.6693 inches) long / 286 mm (11.2598 inches) wide
  • 2800 yen (currently about $26.00 U.S.D.)

All the kits are in their fighter modes and are non-transformable.  Hasegawa plans to have them available during March 2019 so that retailers can restock the kits.  Check your favorite model kit exporters such as HobbyLink Japan and Hobby Search for pre-orders.
